It has a decent build quality. The motor body, jar, and lid are made of plastic, and there are four rubber feet under the motor base to help with ventilation and stability. Although there aren’t any metal elements, the blender feels sturdy overall. However, a few elements are somewhat poorly designed. There’s a lot of resistance when you turn the control dial to the left, and its smooth finish makes it hard to grip. No mechanism locks the jar onto the motor base. To dock the jar, you fit it into the slot on top of the motor base, but it doesn’t lock or twist into place. and it’s held in place through friction by four plastic tabs. These tabs don’t seem particularly durable, and when you’re using the blender, it can be unclear if the jar is properly installed on the motor base.
