This vacuum does an amazing job of dealing with debris on high-pile carpet in its ‘Auto’ power mode with the multi-surface floorhead left partially open. It sucks up small, fine debris like baking soda without an issue and delivers great performance when dealing with larger material like sand. However, it’s worth noting that this vacuum’s strong suction force makes it incredibly difficult to push or pull on thicker carpets, even with the suction gate on its multi-surface floorhead left partially open, to the point where it could be almost impossible to use on this surface type for some users.
