This vacuum does an excellent job of clearing debris from high-pile carpet in its ‘Auto’ power mode with the multi-surface floorhead left partially open. That said, it’s worth noting that the vacuum’s very strong suction force makes it incredibly difficult to push around on thicker carpets, even with the suction gate on its multi-surface floorhead left partially open, to the point where it could be almost impossible to use on this surface type for some users.
